The mobile software platform was late to market but has won a strong developer following, thanks to its flexibility and Google's financial might. The competitition in the mobile market is definetely going to be a heated one and as the BusinessWeek article suggest, Google will be aggressive with this platform. My interest has always been in product platform development, so it remains to be seen how this is going to do in the larger ecosystem.
